Configuring LATCH assessment settings

Users who need to understand LATCH assessment settings.
Administrator role is required.
The Settings section gives administrators control over how assessments work, who can approve them, what notifications go out, and how the interface is displayed.
1. Configuring assessment settings
These settings control the rules around completing and approving assessments.
| Modified PPE Requires Comment | Set this to 'Yes' to require users to comment when altering auto-assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). |
| Allow Removal of Auto-Assigned PPE | Allow users to remove assigned PPE from the assessment activity by setting this to 'Yes'. |
| Allowed Assessment Scopes | Room, Principal Investigator, Group |
| Approval Required for Completed Assessments | No Review / Authorized User / Principal Investigator Review / Admin Review |
| Force Review Even if Assessor is Authorized | The Principal Investigator must review the assessment before it is finalized, even if the person completing it is authorized to do so. |
| Notification Email Recipient | Email address of the person who receives submission notifications. |
| Review Notification Message | Custom message shown to users after they submit an assessment. |
| Notify All Roster Users on Approval/Completion | When set to 'Yes', this sends a notification to all users listed in the selected object's roster. |
| Send Pending Reminders by Default | Principal Investigator / Safety Manager / No one / Everyone |
| Require Digital Signature | Requires a digital signature on the finalized assessment when set to 'Yes'. |
| Signature Required for Approved Assessments | Requires a digital signature on the finalized assessment once it is approved, when set to 'Yes'. |
| Signature Text | Custom text shown above the signature box. |
| Allow View Access for Inspectors | Provides view access to all assessments submitted by users with an Inspector role. |
| Allow Permit Applications | Allow users to submit permit applications through LATCH when set to 'Yes'. |
| Allow New Orders | When set to 'Yes', allow users to submit new orders through LATCH. |
| Allow Assessment Version | All clients should use Assessment V2. V1 is a legacy and unsupported version at this time. |
| First Overdue Reminder (days) | Number of days after last assessment before first reminder is sent (0 = disabled). |
| Second Overdue Reminder (days) | Number of days after last assessment for second reminder (0 = disabled). |
| Third Overdue Reminder (days) | Number of days after last assessment for third reminder (0 = disabled). |
2. Controlling feature settings
Control which features are active and what permission level is required to use them.

3. Customising menu headings
Rename the navigation buttons in the Assessment area to match your organisation's terminology.

4. Customising label settings
Rename labels used within the assessment pages.

5. Customising PDF report settings
Customise the appearance and content of the PDF assessment report that users can download.

| PDF Assessment Report Title | The title shown at the top of the report (e.g., "Laboratory Hazard Assessment Tool") |
| PDF Assessment Report Header Image | Upload a logo or banner image for the report header. |
| Include Assessment InfoBlock in PDF Report | Yes / No |
| PPE Assessment Title | Title for the PPE section in the report (e.g., "Hazard Assessment") |
| Opening Text | Introductory text shown at the beginning of the report (supports HTML). |
| Safety and Emergency Equipment Text | Text for the safety equipment section (supports HTML). |
| Laboratory Hazards Text | Text describing the purpose of the hazard assessment section (supports HTML). |
