Navigating the Compliance Calendar
Who is this article for?
Administrators responsible for event management or Users using the tool.
Administrator or Standard role is required.
The Compliance Calendar is the main tool for managing all scheduled compliance tasks. It combines various task types into one view, helping users and administrators track upcoming, overdue, and completed activities organisation-wide.
This article guides you through the Calendar’s features to maximise its use.
1. Dashboard
At the top of the page, you can see summary counts for:
- Scheduled Events - Active items that are upcoming.
- Overdue Events - Items past their due date that require immediate attention.
- Completed Events - Items marked finished and closed out.
2. Calendar
The Compliance Calendar supports two display modes to accommodate different user preferences.
2.1. Grid view
Also known as Calendar view, it displays due events on a traditional calendar grid.
This view is ideal for Academia or Construction teams who need to visualise workloads over weeks or months.
Grid view is especially helpful during planning meetings when supervisors need to forecast staffing and resource needs.
2.2. List view
Also known as Table view, it displays due events in a data table with sortable columns, including:
- Due dates
- Frameworks
- Action type
- Subprogram
- Completion status
- Actions
This view is designed for Manufacturing or Industry settings where safety officers prefer a tabular, filterable list of assignments.
List view makes it easy to filter by department, due date, or responsible user, making it ideal for large datasets or during audits when precise reporting is critical.
3. Filtering
Both views can be filtered by date range:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- 2 Weeks
- 3 Weeks
Date range filters are especially useful when preparing for upcoming inspections or tracking short-term corrective actions.
4. Customisation
You have a couple of customisation options available to further tailor the information displayed in the tool:
- Start Week on Monday - Option to configure Grid view to display Monday as the first day of the week.
- Narrow Weekends - Option to show weekends in a slimmer column to improve readability when most tasks occur on weekdays.
Adjust these settings to match regional preferences or to make high-activity workweeks easier to scan at a glance.
