Enabling chemical disposal

Administrator role is required.
Chemical disposal lets authorised users log chemical removals. When a container is empty, its status changes from In Stock to Disposed automatically.
Effective disposal workflows ensure compliance, reduce storage risks, and manage hazardous waste properly. The tool is flexible, supporting simple one-click disposals or complex multi-step workflows with approvals, documentation, and Waste Management System (WMS) integration.
This article explains where to enable access to it.
1. Enabling disposal
To enable chemical disposal:
- Open Administration.
- Select Edit Settings.
- Switch to Chemical Inventory.
- Set Show Chemical Disposal to True.
Once enabled, authorised users will see the Dispose option in the container's Action menu.
