When disposal paths are configured for your site, rules may be defined to control how containers are removed from an owner’s inventory. These rules may require additional steps, such as approval, documentation, or integration with third-party systems, before a container is officially disposed of.

This article explains how to initiate a chemical disposal request using one of the preconfigured paths.

1. Initiating a disposal request

To initiate a disposal request:

1. Select a Disposal Path from the dropdown.
2. Depending on the configured rule set, the system may require:
   • An attachment (e.g., supporting documentation), or
   • A requisition ID generated by a third-party waste management program.

If the request requires approval, it will be forwarded to an approver for review.

The system will not process the request until all required information is provided.
