Users needing to submit a chemical disposal request.

Standard role is required.

The Waste API button allows you to generate a waste requisition by communicating with a third-party waste management system.

This article explains how to use this feature.

1. Initiating a requisition

To initiate a waste requisition:

1.  Navigate to Chemical Inventory.
2. Tick a box next to one or more containers.
3. Click Initiate Waste Req.

4. Click OK to confirm.
   The system will attempt to communicate directly with the connected third-party waste management system.

If successful, a Waste Requisition ID will be generated and linked to the disposal request.
