Adjusting hazard control limits

Administrators responsible for Maximum Allowable Quantity (MAQ) management.
Administrator role is required.
Once you've configured hazard control limits, Maximum Allowable Quantity (MAQ) multipliers need to be added and configured separately. Multipliers can be used to adjust thresholds for enhanced safety controls (e.g. sprinklers, advanced ventilation), occupancy type, or specific storage conditions.
This article shows you how you can make those adjustments.
1. Adjusting control limits
To adjust control limits:
- Open Administration.
- Select Edit Settings.
- Go to Chemical Inventory.
- Scroll to Chemical Hazard Limit Adjustments.
- Click Add New.
- Enter a Description.
- Set the Multiplier.
Use 0.5 to halve or 2.0 to double. - Set Status to Active.
