Reconciling disposed/not found items

Users performing an inventory reconciliation.
Standard role and Reconciliation permissions are required.
Disposed/not found containers are marked as disposed or not found physically.
This article explains how to complete the reconciliation of disposed/not found items in your chemical inventory.
1. Completing a reconciliation
When a container is marked as diposed, it will need to be reconciliated.

To complete a reconciliation of disposed/not found items:
- Navigate to Chemical Inventory.
- Switch to the Reconciliation tab.

- Click Start Reconciliation.

- Find the Room.
- Choose an Owner.
- Enter Inventory Code.

- Click Complete.

2. Viewing a reconciliation
To view a reconciliation:
- Clicking View Inventories.

- Switch to the Disposed/Not Found tab.
This tab displays containers that were scanned but are marked as disposed or not found in the system.

- Click View Inventory to display detailed information about the container to be reviewed, including its assigned location and status.

3. Actioning a reconciliation
3.1. Mark Active
Click Mark Active to indicate a container that is physically present in the lab but was mistakenly marked as disposed. This updates their status back to In Stock.

3.2. Transfer Inventory
Click Transfer Inventory if the container owner differs from the reconciliation room owner. This initiates a request to transfer container ownership.

3.3. Mark Reconcile N/A
Click Mark Reconcile N/A if no location change is required, allowing the reconciliation process to proceed without updating the container location.
