Managing corrective actions in the mobile app

Access to Corrective Actions module.
The Corrective Actions module allows you to view, manage, and complete actions directly from your mobile device.
1. Accessing corrective actions
Important: Corrective Actions requires an active internet connection.
To access the module:
- Tap the Corrective Actions tile.
The main screen displays three tabs:
- Open Actions – actions still needing completion
- Recently Closed Actions – completed actions
- Extension Requests – requests to extend due dates
2. Viewing open actions
The Open Actions tab defaults to Show Mine, displaying only your assigned actions. Administrators and Inspectors can switch to Show All to view all open actions. Data displays for the past year by default.
Each action provides two options:
- Manage – opens full action details
- More – shows Report and Notify options
Tip: Use the blue filter button to narrow results by Template, Inspector, Assigned To, Severity, and date range.
3. Managing an action
To manage an action:
- Tap Manage on the action you want to update.
The action details screen provides several management options:
- Complete – closes the action immediately
- Extend – request more time; the administrator receives an email notification
- Reassign – transfer the action to another person; they receive a notification
- Attach File – add photos as evidence
- Comment – leave a note visible to all stakeholders
4. Adding files and comments
You can attach supporting documentation and add comments to provide context or updates on an action.
To attach a file:
- Tap Attach File.
- Select the photo or file you want to add.
To add a comment:
- Tap Comment.
- Enter your note.
- Tap Save.
All stakeholders can view attached files and comments.
