Users who create waste containers during the RAM disposal process.

No administrative access is required, but the container type must allow general‑user creation.

Some container types allow general users to create waste containers directly during the radioactive material disposal workflow. This section explains how users create a container while disposing inventory.

1. Create a waste container during RAM disposal

1.1. Open the RAM disposal workflow

Go to your Radioactive Material Inventory.

On the line item you want to dispose, click Dispose (RAM Action: Dispose).

1.2. Add a new container

In the Inventory Disposal Form, select Add Container (if enabled for the chosen container type).

1.3. Enter container details

When the Add Container window opens, enter the following:

• Container code
• Waste type
• Location

After saving, the new container is created and available for immediate use.

1.4. Continue the disposal workflow

Once the container is created, continue the normal RAM disposal process and log the isotope into the new container.
